Softwashing UK have undertaken extensive training at the prestige West Dean Conservation College, completing a building conservation master class in masonry cleaning, recognised by Historic England. Softwashing UK are fully insured for all of our activities.
We have completed training courses and have been chemically trained in the use of all chemicals we use, by the manufacturer Pureseal Services UK Ltd. As such, we are a Pureseal Ltd approved applicator.
Founded by Gavin Reardon, a pioneer in the UK Softwashing industry, our company is built on a foundation of knowledge, expertise, innovation and integrity.
Gavin recognised the limitations and risks of high-pressure jet washing. After lots of time and research, Gavin discovered Softwash cleaning techniques being used in the US and Europe.
Gavin travelled to these locations to gain knowledge and participate in multiple training courses.
Gavin then brought the knowledge gained back to the UK, where he got to work adapting what he had discovered, to be a suitable cleaning service for the UK climate and environment, both natural and man-made and of course, our Health & Safety Act 1974.
Softwashing UK has been raising industry standards ever since, developing new cleaning solutions and equipment, suitable for use in the soft wash industry. Softwashing UK are proud to have held the first ever Softwashing training course in the UK, over 10 years ago in London.
